The basics
What is Cell and Gene Leaders London?
A one-day, executive-level meeting for the biopharma industry, hosted by Onyx Newsroom on the 34th floor of The Shard with sensational views across London. The 2026 summit is dedicated exclusively to Cell and Gene therapy - the science, the manufacturing, and the investment driving advanced medicines forward.
When and where is it?
15 November 2026, at The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG - a five-minute walk from London Bridge station (National Rail, Jubilee and Northern lines). Sessions and networking run across the day, finishing with a drinks reception into the early evening.
What does the day cover?
The programme is built around advanced therapies - gene editing and delivery, CAR-T and cell-therapy manufacturing, and the regulatory and market-access questions that come with them. Expect the Summit to be leading the conversation on where Cell and Gene is headed next.
Who attends
Who’s in the room?
The day is weighted towards senior decision-makers - founders, CEOs, leaders and future leaders in Cell and Gene therapy and its development. Every ticket holder receives a copy of the guest list in advance, so you can plan who you want to meet.
Is this the right event for me and my company?
The biotech field is huge and diverse but this is a select event for Cell and Gene therapy. If you’re working in Cell and Gene, this is the event for you.
Can start-up founders or investors attend?
Yes. We hold a limited number of complimentary passes for early-stage founders and qualifying investors. These are reviewed individually - email info@onyxnewsroom.com with brief info about your fund or company and we’ll get back to you.
Are there private meeting rooms?
Yes. Contact Lewis Hart at lewis@onyxnewsroom.com for details.
I’m already going to events at Jefferies and London Life Sciences Week. Is the Summit going to conflict with them?
No. The Summit takes place the day before they’re underway giving you a chance to meet leaders in Cell and Gene therapy ahead of these events.

Is there more than one ticket type?
